  She subsequently married Noadiah Whitmore of Middletown, Connecticut, a great-great grandson of the original immigrant Francis Whitmore (1625-85). Some sources show her as a daughter of Manoah Hubbard (1739-62) and Hannah Woodward, born in Middletown 8 Jul 1762. But the Persis Hubbard born on that date died 7 Mar 1767. It's possible that she was a subsequent Persis born to that couple, but no records have been found to confirm this.
