Notes - He was a mason. He first appears in the records in 1645, when he bought a house and land on the west side of Garden Street in Cambridge, near Phillips Place. He appears to have emigrated with his daughter Sarah, his only child by his by-then-deceased first wife Margaret Clarke. He later married, as his second wife, Rebecca, widow of Thomas Andrew, and they had several children together.
