Notes - He is not at all proved to be the son of Randall and Jane Baguley (Bauguley, Beagly, etc.) of Wrentham, Suffolk who was baptized there 16 Feb 1617. This claim, still held to by the Bigelow Society, appears to have been the work of the notorious 19th-century genealogical forger Horatio Gates Somerby.
As the WikiTree page about this John Bigelow notes, all three of the "proofs" for this ancestry cited by the Bigelow Society, on their web site and in the 1986 Bigelow Family Genealogy, are entirely unsourced.
