Notes - Also called Maud. She was definitely a natural child of Henry I. According to some sources, her mother was Isabel de Beaumont, wife of Gilbert "Strongbow" Fitz Gilbert, Earl of Pembroke (also called Gilbert de Clare). This relationship is not confirmed in Royal Ancestry's extensive coverage of Henry I's many illegitimate offspring, although her marriage to Roscelin de Beaumont is noted.
