    • Steward of the King's Household. Constable of Knaresborough castle, 1302. Bailiff of Holderness, 1307-08. Summoned to Parliament by writs, 8 Jan 1313 to 26 Jul 1313. In 1313 he and his son Nicholas were pardoned as adherents of Thomas, Earl of Lancaster, for their involvement in the death of Piers Gaveston.

      Fought at Falkirk. Killed at the battle of Bannockburn.
