Notes - First in New England in 1636 at Watertown, then in Providence in 1655. He was a planter.
He appears to have been in hot water in 1651 for Baptist inclinations. In May 1666, by then in Providence, his and Roger Williams' names head the list of those who had sworn allegiance to Charles II. He was a deputy to the Rhode Island general assembly several times.
