  • Notes
    • Her death certificate gives her marital status as "widowed" and her father as James Eisenlohr. This would seem to preclude the idea that she is the "Flora E. Myers", daughter of Peter Eisenlord and Louisa Robinson, who at 75 years of age in 1935 married William B. Canouts, age 79, in Midland County, Michigan. William B. Canouts died in 1941.

These two individuals, Electa Frances Eisenlohr who married John Walter Myers, and Flora E. Myers who late in life married William B. Canouts, appear to have been conflated into a single person on the Find a Grave page for Electa Frances Eisenlohr Myers, and in a number of other online sources.

We have found no other record of her father James Eisenlohr, but census and other records show a number of Eisenlohrs living in and near Gladwin County, Michigan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, quite a few of whom are named James.
