• Notes

  Probably a great-grandson of Adam fitz Liulf of Uldale and Gilcrux in Cumberland, by his son "filia Adae" who married a de Bonkil, and their unknown son who was born about 1140 and called himself "Adam de Bonkil". In 1160 Adam de Bonekil witnessed a charter by Richard Cumyn.
