Notes - Also called Tanglust of Chester. Ormerod says that William Belward married a Beatrix who was a daughter of Hugh de Bohun, alias Kevelioc, 5th Earl of Chester. And Burke's Peerage (2003) gives her as an illegitimate daughter of Hugh. But she may have been a natural daughter of Ranulph of Chester ("le Gernons") rather than of Ranulph's son.
