- She was alive, married to her second husband, when her daughter Sibbell made her will.
Joan Kirby (citation details below) identifies her second husband as Thomas Casson. But the 28 Jan 1577 will (Publications of the Thoresby Society, Volume 1, Part 1, Leeds Parish Church Registers, 1571 to 1588, Leeds, 1889) of John Reame of Kirkgate, clothier, who was buried 2 Feb 1577, a son of Alexander and Grace Reame, which refers to "the children of Richard Sykes, my late brother-in-lawe", includes a bequest of "my greye cloike" to "my father, John Casson", which would seem to indicate that John and Sibbell Reame's mother Grace married John Casson, not Thomas Casson, after the 1546 death of their father Alexander Reame. Additionally, the 17 Sep 1576 will of Richard Sykes, husband of Sibbell Reame, refers to "my father-in-law, John Casson."
