Notes - The diary of schoolmaster Joseph Tate (citation details below), reports, in an entry dated 16 Dec 1771, that the Elizabeth Ricker who was marrying Benjamin Evans on that day was "Illegal Begotten by Ephraim Ricker Junr. She was Daughter of Elizabeth Mardin."
(He was Ephraim Ricker, Junior at the time because his uncle Ephraim Ricker (1695-1773) was still living at Somersworth.)
