Notes - "He had a charter from King David II of the lands of Morton and Merchamyston in Midlothian, on the resignation of William Bisset on 10 February 1357-58, which was confirmed 11 February 1357-58. He had a safe-conduct to go into England on 6 May 1358 on his way abroad to Prussia to fight in foreign wars. On 17 September 1358, by charter dated at Perth, King David confirmed to him the annuity of 40 merks granted to his grandfather Sir Henry. He died shortly thereafter."
