According to Stirnet.com, the Richard Arthur who was father of Agnes (Arthur) Percival was possibly that Richard Arthur of Clapton, alive in 1370, who married Isabel Turville, daughter and heir of Roger Turville of Bristol. Further according to Stirnet, this Richard's father was Sir William Arthur of Clapton (possibly the man of this name who was a constable of Bristol Castle) who married a daughter to Basset of Winterbourne, and William's father was Sir Richard Arthur of Clapton, alive 1283, who married a daughter and heir of _____ Flory.
