Notes - Also spelled Marriott. Emigrated in 1635; settled at Cambridge. He was a cordwainer.
After their marriage at Little Whelnetham, Suffolk, they moved across the county to Ipswich, a port town. A Thomas Marrett, Sr. is recorded as living next door to them in the parish of St. Stephen, Ipswich. This Thomas Marrett had a daughter Mary baptized in 12 Jun 1632, and he was buried 4 Sep 1640. Although it seems very likely that he was the father of the emigrant Thomas Marrett, no proof has been found.
