Ch.), 17 Oct. 1844, aged 18; suc. to the Baronetcy, 21 March 1863; Sheriff of Yorkshire, 1869-70. He m. 3 Aug. 1874, at Westm. Abbey, Jessica Anne Christina, 1st da. of the Rt. Hon. George Augustus Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck, sometime (1875-80) Judge Advocate General (grandson to the 3d Duke OF Portland), by Prudence Penelope, da. of Col.
