  1st Baron Grandison 1299?1335, Knight, Deputy Justiciar of North Wales 1284?1293, Deputy Warden of the Channel Islands 1294?1296. He served in the household of Edmund "Crouchback", Earl of Lancaster. He fought in the Scottish wars and was at the seige of Caerlaverock. He was an executor of Edmund's will and of that of his widow Blanche of Artois. Summoned to Parliament by writs dated from 6 Feb 1299 to 10 Oct 1325.
