    • Richard Alan Damon's The Damon Family of Wayland, Massachusetts (Amherst, Massachusetts, 1997) says that this Thomas Damon is "believed to be" a son of Thomas Damon, baptized at Faversham, Kent 28 Oct 1627, and his wife Rachel. This Thomas Damon came to New England in about 1650, lived in the part of Charlestown that is now Stoneham, and died in Reading 7 Dec 1683.
