Notes - Granted in 1667 a patent of 194 acres in Gloucester County, Virginia. Member of the House of Burgesses in 1683. He is said to have brought the first printing press to Virginia.
Despite many strenuous assertions that he was the John Buckner, salter of London, who married Deborah Ferrers in London in 1660, this is absolutely not the case. That John Buckner died in Suffolk about 1678.
