  "In December 1809, probably in Green County, Kentucky, he married Hannah Todd, probably a daughter of Samuel Todd, who had left Bedford County, Virginia, in 1807 to move to Jefferson County, Kentucky. David and Hannah lived in Wayne County, Kentucky. The census of 1810 shows a male child under ten in their household. Hannah is said to have remarried to a Mr. Miniett/Minatt/Mynatt and moved to the Knoxville area. There's no further information, but her son may have been living in George Ewing's household in 1820."
