Notes - Called by the Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire (citation details below) a "Scotch prisoner." Lemuel Shattuck's 1835 History of the Town of Concord, Middlesex County says "He is said to have been banished from Scotland by Oliver Cromwell."
