  From his Find a Grave page: HOE, WILLIAM Buried: 12 July 1850 Lot 4077 Section 31 William Hoe's grave is unmarked. According to probate papers, and the New York Evening Post, William Hoe Sr. died 20 August 1849. His son Richard Hoe died in 1850. This may account for a possible re-burial of William with his son in 1850. Update: The burials database at Green-Wood (citation details below) confirms that William Hoe, age 64, born in England, was buried there on 22 Aug 1849.
