    • "Hannah Redknap, b. say 1642; m. Lynn 22 October 1662 Christopher Nicholson, son of Edmund Nicholson [Dawes-Gates 2:602]. (Mary Walton Ferris stated that 'a man of this name and Quaker faith was resident in North Carolina in 1677 and 1679, but his identity is not proven.' The sale of land by Joseph Redknap in 1665 and the subsequent deposition that he sold the land 'having married a daughter who went to Roanoke and wanting necessities' makes this identification certain."
