  • Notes
    • Her surname was also spelled Helsdon, Elsden, Heilson, Alston, etc. She was possibly the "An", daughter of Cuthbert and Margaret Elsdon, baptized at Soham, Cambridgeshire on 23 Jun 1583. John Insley Coddington believed that she was a granddaughter of Christopher Helsdone, alderman of Cambridge, who made his will on 31 December 1597 and was buried at the same church of St. Clement where Ann married Thomas Blossom in 1605.
