• Notes

  Ancestors of Wil Wheaton. Came from England to Duxbury before 1643. One of the original proprietors of Bridgewater. Fought in King Philip's War. A carpenter by trade, he opened a tavern in Bridgewater in 1670 which continued under his and his descendants' management for 151 years.
