    • He has to have died before 1430, when John Saville and John Lake had his son John's wardship by letters patent of Henry VI dated 8 July of that year. In 1431 they sold the wardship and marriage of the younger John Wentworth to Walter Calverley.

      The Ancestry of Dorothea Poyntz has him as the father of Roger Wentworth who married Margery le Despenser.
