  • Notes
    • Or Johan Mathias Ankerstjerne.

Henriks Køkken, at www.anker-stjerne.dk, says that according to the 1927 Encyclopedia of Danish Families, Johan Martin (Mathias) Ankerstjerne was "born in Sweden in 1750, was a carpenter in Randers, died in 1805, married Ane Pedersdatter and had several children." Køkken also says: "Traditionen om at Familien Ankerstjerne nedstammer fra den svenske adelige og friherrelige Slægt Anckarstjerna ... synes ikke berettiget." ("The tradition that this family Ankerstjerne is descended from the Swedish noble and free-spirited family of the Anckarstjerna ... does not seem justified.")
