Notes - Adelaide-Blanche of Anjou (d. 1026) was married four times, to Étienne de Brioude, Raymond de Toulouse, Louis V of France, and Guillaume II of Provence. She definitely had a daughter named Ermengarde, who was herself very probably married to a count of Auvergne, but as this entry at The Henry Project explains in detail, insufficient evidence exists to establish whether Étienne or Raymond was this Ermengarde's father, and which count of Auvergne she married. She may be this individual, the Ermengarde commonly recorded as the wife of Robert I. Or she may be the "Umberga" recorded as Robert I's mother, the wife of Guillaume IV.
