• Notes

  An unsourced Find a Grave page says that she died 12 Oct 1850, age 93 or 94, in Leasburg, Caswell, North Carolina. It also gives her parents as "George Richard Simpson (1727-1782) and Rebecca Susannah Wheeler, but there appears to be no evidence for this. No corresponding record exists for a "George Richard Simpson", and neither the 19 Sep 1761 will of Richard Simpson of Fairfax County nor the 4 Oct 1782 will of George Simpson of the same place mention any daughter named Nancy or any son-in-law named Jacobs.
