    • The date of his emigration is unknown, but he was in Hartford by 1639. His name is on the Founders Monument in downtown Hartford. Treasurer of the Connecticut colony 1641-47. He was a merchant, trading extensively in Delaware, Long Island, Virginia, Piscataqua, and even England.
