Notes - Husbandman and brewer. Emigrated in 1635; admitted to the First Church at Boston 17 Apr 1636. During the Antinomian controversy, on 20 Nov 1637, he signed the petition in defense of the Rev. Wheelwright, but after the Boston court saw fit to remove all "guns, pistols, swords, powder, shot, and match as they be owners of or have in their custody" from the signers of this petition, Isaac Gross's name appeared on a further petition (22 Nov 1637) withdrawing his name from the previous petition.
On 31 May 1647 "Isac Groose" was ordered "not to sell any beer by the quart within doors anymore."
