    • Manufacturer and inventor. Said to have coined the term "radiator," he received a number of U.S. patents for hot water and steam heating.

      "NASON.--On Wednesday, 11th inst., at Montclair, N.J., in the 57th year of his age, JOSEPH NASON, of the firm of Joseph Nason & Co., New-York, and formerly of the firm of Walworth, Nason & Co., Boston. The remains will be taken to Boston for interment. Funeral services will be held at his late residence in Montclair, N.J., on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 3 1/2 P.M. Carriages will await the arrival of 2 P.M. train from foot of Barclay st. Return trains at 5 and 5:55 P.M. Boston papers please copy." [New York Times, 13 Dec 1872, p. 5]
