  • Notes
    • He travelled to England with his parents and his sisters Sarah and Rebecca, plus another sibling whose name is lost, sometime between 1648 and 1656. After his father's death there in 1656, he returned to Woburn, Massachusetts with his mother and his sisters Sarah and Rebecca; they were there by 19 Jun 1660.

He was handicapped in some way (described in records as "lame"). About 1660, on his return to New England, he was placed under the guardianship of his brother George, to be "put forth to an apprentice to such a trade as he is most meet for."
