A photocollage of faces, from the Dean Meetup in Tucson, AZ, July 02, 2003. Second row down, third from the right, is my mother-in-law, Jan Hayden. Bottom right-hand corner is my father-in-law, Jas Hayden. And yes, Patrick does look like a computer-generated morph of his parents.
Would James, then, be your Brother-in-Law? (Making Jeanette your sister-in-law-in-law. Err.)
You're being misled by nicknames. Jas = James, Jan = Jeanette. My brothers-in-law are named Peter and Benjamin.
Which of Patrick's relatives, then, plays bass in the Counting Crows?
Wow. I don't know. That's as mysterious as Patrick's aunt becoming Italian.
By the way, SF's own Dave Langford is the brother of John Langford of the Mekons. That's just in case you've heard of either of them.
Greg: Many are my names in many countries, dude.
Teresa, I wasn't familiar with the Mekons, but I am somewhat nervous about Thog.
Sooner or later, Thog catches us all. But unless we're one of his favorite stylists (no names mentioned), it's only once in a while. The rest of the time, we get to watch Thog catch other writers.
Besides, I'm very fond of Davd Langford.
Teresa, you're starting to disemvowel yourself...
I will answer that, if I may, with a brief interpretive dance.
