I just now noticed that Clarion West has announced its slate of instructors for 2007. I’m happy to have been invited back; the 2003 workshop was an outstanding experience. For information about Clarion West, read their FAQ and watch their website for 2007-specific information.
I’m happy to have been invited back;
Hey, congrats.
Very neat! Does anyone know who's teaching Clarion East next year? The website seems to be down...
Here's the list for East 2007 (I just came home from the 2006 workshop and still have an e-mail that went around when the 2007 instructors were announced). I also know the web site will be back up soon. Something to do with larger-scale Clarion changes.

Mary Anne Mohanraj
Jeff VanderMeer
Cory Doctorow
Ellen Kushner

The Clarion West FAQ omits any mention of when applications for 2007 are actually due...
For those of us in Seattle, who have no chance of being an attendee, could there be an opportunity for a get together nonetheless?
Oh hey, that's awesome. The 2007 class is going to be a lucky one having you as an instuctor, as were we :)
wow, three out of six! i was in the class of 2003 (hi, patrick! thanks for the crits!) and had three of these instructors: patrick, chip delany, and nancy kress. they were all three spectacular to work with, so get those applications in. there's nothing like clarion west (except clarion east, and clarion south, i'm told.)
Clarion South can invite me ANY TIME. My bags are packed.
Clarion East.
Clarion West.
Clarion South.
One more and it qualifies as a planet under IAS rules.
