2. Archibald Mure (son of Gilchrist Mure and Isabel Comyn); died on 30 Mar 1296 in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England. Notes:
Slain at the first battle of Berwick. Both History of the County of Ayr and The Works of Sir William Mure of Rowallan [citation details for both below] misdate this event to 1298.
