    "Seigneur de Bailly (Bailly-en-Cruye), Noisy (Noisy-le-Roi) in part, Marcq, Hébergerie, Clayes, Bordes, La Bretesche (Bresteshe), and other places. He rendered faith and homage to the king on 23 May 1492 for numerous fiefs in the county of Montfort-l'Amaury. In 1501, he was the lieutenant of Jacques de Dinteville, seigneur de Dampmartin, grand veneur (huntsman) of France. In 1505, he was the captain of St-Germain-en-Laye." [John P.     According to John P. DuLong, in 1489, before his first marriage (to Marie Balue), Guillaume II de La Villeneuve kidnapped Anne de Contremoret, who would later become his second wife.
