1. Elizabeth Fuller was born on 31 May 1652 in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts; died on 30 Jun 1715 in Suffield, Hartford, Connecticut.

Notes:

He came to Ipswich in 1638. He is probably the Thomas Emerson, baker, who in 1650 sold land granted him by the town of Ipswich to Joseph Jewett of Rowley. Stone-Gregg Genealogy drily notes that "authors at the turn of the century were reluctant to believe that Ralph Waldo Emerson was descended from a lowly baker but did not supply documentation proving the existence of two concurrent Thomas Emersons in Ipswich."

Thomas married Elizabeth Brewster on 1 Jul 1611 in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England. Elizabeth died after 25 Sep 1666. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

She was the executor of her husband's will. She last appears on record on 25 Sep 1666, when she attested to the accuracy of the estate's inventory. Her parentage is unknown.

He was a courier of the posts. His estate included fourteen acres of freehold pasture for horses, and he had freehold and leasehold lands in Bishop's Stortford and Thorley.

Robert married Susan Crabbe on 24 Nov 1578 in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England. Susan (daughter of John Crabbe) was born about 1556; died on 20 Nov 1626 in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Thomas married Agnes. Agnes died in 1568; was buried in 1568 in Great Dunmow, Essex, England. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Second wife of Thomas Emerson, she was the widow of John Savill. That her first name was Agnes is not entirely proved.

Stone-Gregg Genealogy states that the Crabbe family were "Lords of Pieots Manor", a place we have been unable to identify.
