    Sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk. He was knighted by the Earl of Arundel in the presence of Queen Mary on the day after her coronation,

    Richardson (citation details below) says that Thomas Tyndall married his second wife Amy Fermor "about 1533", implying that Anne Paston must have died before then, but to our mind a better bound for both events is the one pointed out by Robin Wood on the Wikitree page for Anne Paston: Thomas Tyndall's second marriage "certainly took place before May 1544, when Sir Thomas sold the manor of Helpston, the last remnant of the Tyndall estates in Northamptonshire, for the dower of his wife Amy was reserved from the sale."
