    Children:
    1. Samuel Hafford was born on 17 Sep 1719 in Middleborough, Plymouth, Massachusetts; died on 10 Jul 1801; was buried in Hafford Cemetery, Lakeville, Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Generation: 2

  1. 2.  Isaac Pierce was born about 1661; died on 28 Feb 1732 in Middleborough, Plymouth, Massachusetts.

    Notes:

The original handwritten record of his death reads "Isaac Pierce Senior Deceased february the 28th 1731/2 In the Seventy first year of his age".

Various sources including History of the Hayford Family (citation details below), Ebenezer Pierce's 1870 The Peirce Family of the Old Colony, and WikiTree identify this Isaac Pierce with the Isaac who was a son of Abraham Pierce of Plymouth and Duxbury who died in 1673. History of the Hayford Family calls him Abraham's fifth child. But none of this appears to be the case. According to Robert Charles Anderson, Abraham Pierce's son Isaac was his second child, he was born around 1641 (twenty years earlier), he was living in 1673, and no further record of him exists.

Isaac married Alice. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

  2. 3.  Alice

    Notes:

Said to have been Alice Chartley, and from Scotland; no evidence exits to substantiate this.
