    He was baptized as an adult along with his eldest child Abigail, on 8 Apr 1722.

    Notes:

    He apparently lived in Portsmouth before 1679-80, when his tax was abated, and then moved to Cape Elizabeth where he was living in 1689.

    He signed a petition from Falmouth before 1700, and in a deed dated 17 May 1721 his son named his grandfather, William Reynolds, and his father, Job Reynolds, calling them both deceased.

    Notes:

    Robert Charles Anderson [The Great Migration Begins, volume 3, p. 1572] has argued that it is "unlikely" that the William Reynolds who was a company servant commanded by John Howland during the Piscataqua dispute in April 1634 was the same individual that was on 6 Feb 1637 granted five acres of land in Duxbury because "he hath a stock of cattle." At any rate, this William Reynolds removed to Cape Porpus, where he had a 200-acre grant in 1654. According to the History of Durham (citation details below), his removal to Cape Porpus took place about 1640. He kept a ferry on the Kennebunk from 1657 to as late as 1673.
