  The entry for early Weymouth settler Stephen French (1600?-1679) in The Great Migration Begins says that he mentioned "my sister Mary Randol" in his will, and opines that "Mary was likely the second wife of Robert Randall of Weymouth." Stephen French was "[p]ossibly the Stephen French baptized at Misterton, Somersetshire, 26 December 1600"; if so, Mary French's English origins are likely to be the same.
