Notes - F. N. Craig (citation details below) makes her a daughter of a younger John de Gatesden who died in 1258, who (Craig says) was a son of the John de Gatesden who died in 1262. But Douglas Richardson has shown convincingly that the Margaret who was daughter of the younger John de Gateson (the John that died in 1258) was 13 years old in 1259, thus born about 1246, whereas the Margaret de Gatesden who married John de Camoys was still a minor in 1270 and thus must have been born after 1248.
