• Notes

  First of her name. Not to be confused with her younger sister, also Eleanor Holland, who married Thomas Montagu. She is erroneously given in The Ancestry of Charles II (citation details below) as a daughter of Thomas Holand and Joan "The Fair Maid of Kent." They were her paternal grandparents, not her parents.
