• Notes

  Or Hayward. Emigrated in July 1635 on the Assurance; briefly in Dorchester before settling in Windsor. He was a miller and a millwright. Moved to Northampton in 1658, probably to build the mill there. Appears to have been in Hartford for a time as well. Back to Windsor by 1669.
