    • Steward of the duchy of Cornwall, 1302-30. Vice-admiral of England under Thomas Beaufort, Duke of Exeter, 1418. Knighted 11 Oct 1399. Called "The Magnificent."

      Knight of the shire for Cornwall in Jan 1397, Sep 1397, Jan 1404, Oct 1404, 1406, 1411, Apr 1414, Mar 1416, 1417, May 1421, 1422, and 1423. Sheriff of Cornwall 3 Nov 1399 to 28 Oct 1400; Easter 1402 to 6 Oct of that year; 10 Dec 1407 to 29 Sep 1408; and 4 Nov 1418 to 23 Nov 1419. Sheriff of Devon 19 May 1414 to 1 Dec 1415.

      In his will dated 1433, he bequeathed money for the preservation of the head of St. Piran in the chapel at Perranzabuloe.
