• Notes

  Emigrated in 1633. First at Roxbury, then Hartford, where he served in the Pequot War. His name is on the Founders Monument in downtown Hartford. Removed to Middletown by 1651, from where he was deputy to the General Court in 1654, 1664, and 1665.
