Notes - He was summoned to Parliament by writs dated 28 Dec 1375 to 5 Oct 1417. He served in the Scottish wars and was taken prisonor by George, Earl of Dunbar, in a skirmish at Horseridge near Glendale ward, Northumberland, in 1380. On 23 Oct 1399 he was one of the lords who assented in Parliament to the secret imprisonment of Richard II.
