• Notes

  He arrived in Massachusetts in 1635 on the Defence, along with his wife Elizabeth and his children Francis, Elizabeth, Marie, and John. At the time of his emigration he was a servant to Roger Harlakenden (b. 1611). Said to have been the first representative of Billerica to the General Court in 1666.
