• Notes

  The Weaver/Weber memorial stone at Weaverland cemetery calls him "Johann Anton Weber" and gives him a birth year of 1640. Jane Evans Best (citation details below) says "The name Anton has been associated by family tradition with Hans Weber, but does not appear in any of his European records." West Lampeter Township was in Chester County at the time of Hans Weber's death in 1724; that portion of Chester County became part of the new county of Lancaster in 1729.
