  Clifford L. Stott (citation details below) considers him "probably" the father of the emigrant Thomas Faxon. He lived in Swalcliffe, Oxfordshire through 1613, but no burial record has been found for him. He married first, at Swalcliffe, 5 Jun 1580, Jane Gilks; second, Ellen, who was buried at Swalcliffe 7 Nov 1600; third, Agnes, who was buried at Swacliffe 30 Aug 1613. It is not known whether Ellen or Agnes was the mother of Thomas.
